Special Children's Christmas Party
Coastwood was a sponsor for SCCP in 2023, who are dedicated to giving special Kiwi children aged 3 - 12, their families, and caregivers, a spectacular day to remember.
In 1998, Kiwi kids got to experience the very first Special Children’s Christmas Parties in New Zealand.
Now, every year in New Zealand, nearly 10,000 Kiwi children with special needs, challenging life or health circumstances are invited to a party like no other.
“These kids live with ill-health, disability, challenging home circumstances 24/7. They can’t switch it on and off when they want.
Regardless of their situation, kids are kids. They want to go out and have fun. To be kids.
Annual Kids Party and Autism NZ Inc
Autism NZ works directly with individuals and families who have a child with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Autism NZ Inc provides Training and Seminars as well as information education resources, and they are often the voice for the families working as an advocate dealing with Government and local organizations. Autism NZ Inc has branches through out New Zealand working in communities where there is a need. With limited funding Autism NZ is reliant on donations to ensure these important services will continue to reach those that need it the most.
Organisations like this are great initiatives and we are pleased to support them with a donation.
Rapid Relief Team
We're humbled to be a a Smarrt Supporter of the Rapid Relief Team (RRT) NZ. RRT delivers hope and relief to people across the globe. Whether it be fire, flood or humanitarian need, RRT expands their support services to meet the need at hand.
RRT's mission is 'To serve people with care & compassion in their time of need.'
Tranzalpine Scooter Safari
Scooter Safari is a gruelling test of endurance travelling 250km through freezing temperatures... on a city scooter!
More than 400 riders participated in the coast-to-coast ride over the stunning Southern Alps to help create a future with less cancer with the Cancer Society.
Coastwood Furniture donated $500 to this great initiative.
Family Fun Day
Family Fun Day works with Caring Families Aotearoa, formerly Fostering Kids New Zealand, to support the fostering families who care for thousands of children and young people in New Zealand who are unable to live with their biological parents.
Coastwood donated $200 towards this worthy initative.
